WHAT WE TEACH

Short answer? Everything. Long answer? See below…

Standard

  • Waltz: a classic 3-count with a beautiful rise and fall, elegant, romantic, and perfect for a wedding or ball
  • Foxtrot: a particularly challenging 4-count, get ready to prance all around the room!
  • Tango: killer looks, sharp moves, quick turns, and lots of tension, tango is still surprisingly accessible and oh-so-much fun!
  • Viennese Waltz: a lightning-fast dance with almost constant spins, don’t confuse this gorgeous and graceful dance for it’s slower-paced variation
  • Quickstep: as the name implies, get ready to fly around the floor with all sorts of hops, skips, and jumps to a playlist of classic upbeat tunes
Smooth

  • Waltz: a classic 3-count with a beautiful rise and fall but now with flowing open figures, elegant, romantic, and perfect for a wedding or ball
  • Tango: killer looks, sharp moves, quick turns, and lots of tension, but now with a slightly different count, tango is still surprisingly accessible and oh-so-much fun!
  • Foxtrot: a 4-count for any occasion, dance around to both old school and new songs, with favorites like most Sinatra and jazz making the perfect background for a foxtrot
  • Viennese Waltz: a lightning-fast dance with almost constant spins, the smooth variation allows for some beautiful open figures that are both stunning and give a little bit more breathing time
Latin

  • Cha-Cha: quick, sharp, and feisty, latin cha-cha is a dance that’s full of quick feet and fun for beginners and pros alike!
  • Rumba: smooth, sexy, and full of hip action, rumba looks easy but it’s full of technique and sensuality
  • Jive: the rapid-paced cousin of swing, this nimble dance is high anergy and all fun
  • Samba: a whole body experience, samba is sexy, exciting, and high-energy
  • Paso Doble: straight from a bullfight, this rigid, dramatic dance is the literal representation of a proud bullfighter and his flashy red cape
Rhythm

No payment

  • Cha-Cha: still quick but less sharp, with lots of rocking hips, the still-feisty rhythm cha-cha is a dance that’s also full of quick feet and fun for beginners and pros alike!
  • Rumba: smooth, sexy, and full of hip action, rhythm rumba is still full of technique but danced slightly farther away from your partner in a box figure
  • Swing: always a favorite, swing is full of more tricks, dips, and lifts than any other dance
  • Bolero: dramatic and utterly sensual, bolero is a beautiful combo of quick sharp movements placed between powerful flowing figures
  • Mambo: tricky for those of us used to salsa dancing, mambo feels like a sped-up version of salsa with a slightly different count

And more non-competitive styles…

Salsa: the more popular cousin of Mambo, a loose and vibrant dance full of spins and flirty hips that’s perfect for dancing in the streets as well as the studio

Bachata: whether you’re dancing traditional or sensual bachata, you’re guaranteed to be in for lots of fun with this classic that can be used at a family gathering or in the club

Hustle: a quick, modern dance that’s all about having fun, hustle is not only super easy to pick up but can be danced to almost any song!
